JOB PURPOSE: The Senior Accountant is responsible for the management of day-to-day accounting functions across the
organization, as well as supporting the CEO, Directors, Service Coordinators, and service teams.
SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES
- General Ledger –Prepare journal entries for accruals, ADP payroll, investments, reconciliation, yearend, and
allocations. Responsible for the monthly close, complete monthly financial reports for management, and subsidiary
ledgers. - Subsidiary Ledger – Process Accounts Payables, Account Receivables, Fixed Assets, and Bank Reconciliation in
compliance with financial policies and procedures. Perform weekly financial transactions, including verifying,
classifying, computing, and posting. Prepare bills, invoices, bank reconciliation, and bank deposits. - Payroll – Manage the ADP Workforce Now payroll system, including processing payroll, verifying payroll data, and
ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees. Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate employee data and
maintain employee payroll records. Prepare Quarterly Unemployment, pay period 401K Deferral, monthly Kaposia
401K match and verify annual W2’s and ACA records. - Account Receivables – Manage CASHE-Pavillio customer attendance and billing system. Calculate, record, and input
billing data from Pavillio into account receivable module. - Other – Prepare annual budget with assistance from Directors and CEO. Coordinate and facilitate external audits,
working with auditors to provide necessary documentation. Periodic grant and Minnesota DHS reporting.
DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. Minimum 2 years of
general accounting experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables and V-lookup). Desired experience with
accounting software, ADP Workforce Now, CASHE-Pavillio software platform and DHS MN-ITS.
HOURS: This is a hybrid position based on a 40-hour work week.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: This is a full-time, exempt position with an annual salary between $70K-75K. Benefits
include medical, dental, disability, life, 401K plan, Personal Time off (PTO), Short-Term Leave Bank and 8 paid holidays.
