Volunteer

Kaposia is always looking for dynamic volunteers to coordinate and recruit fundraising teams, leverage community support, plan activities and help our great cause!

We thank you for your interest in volunteering and supporting KAPOSIA!

Events

Transportation remains one of the biggest barriers to employment for people with disabilities. To help cover the cost of providing transportation, Kaposia holds its annual Walk for Wheels in the Spring.

In the Fall, Kaposia holds its annual GALA, featuring a silent auction, banquet, and special guest. Funding from the Gala is used to kick start new initiatives for our customers.

Donate

Your financial support is crucial in promoting the personal, social and vocational success of persons with disabilities throughout the Twin Cities area.

Your contribution enables us to assist well over 300 adults with disabilities either find meaningful employment each year or receive services in their retirement.

Get Involved

Volunteers are happier and healthier than non-volunteers. In fact, during later life, volunteering is even more beneficial for one's health than exercising and eating well.

Older people who volunteer remain physically functional longer, have more robust psychological well-being, and live longer.
